Tidal Wave

I just finished, "Tidal Wave." It's an oil painting on canvas, 24" x 36". I'm going to miss looking at it.

I've noticed a lot of people have liked this painting.  This year I've created an online store so people can get prints or a wrapped canvas or cards or things like mugs with my images on them.  I thought, maybe someone looking at this would like a copy of it so here is my store link:

Learning how to go with the flow in life has been a life long challenge.  Learning how to ride through those hard times and find peace even when life is overwhelming isn't easy.  And accepting life as it is and some how finding the courage to ride on with a sense of awe and grace through it all may be tough but man oh is so liberating.  And that freedom and peace and sense of awe is what I was thinking about when I was painting this very special life story painting for my niece, Katie.

  1. Hello, I just made a poem titled "Tidal Wave" and when I was looking up tidal wave pictures I found this one and it gave my heart peace. It is very beautiful, I love painting and hope to become as good as you.

  2. I'm so glad you like it. And to know it gave your heart peace... well that is the bees knees.

  3. Wow I had no idea. I'm so glad this painting gave you that feeling. That's wonderful.

  4. Haha yes, your paintings are the bees knees. Sadly it been a while since I have painted but I think this is a sign that I need to start. I wish you the best.
