Mr. Peepers has been trained amazingly well by my son. He never goes to the bathroom in the house and he listens really well. Except on the No Chasing of Cats Policy we have in the house.
As you will see...
Coco reassures Crazy Cat that she will be safe from that four footed cat chaser in this video...
When Mr. Peepers forgets and chases Crazy Cat anywhere this is what happens!
My son taught him this. I have no idea how he did it. But it cracks me up everytime!
I enjoy bringing together music, writings and research about topics that I find interesting. I like to share images of my artwork and write about what inspires me. Telling stories about Coco, my Akita Service Dog is one of my favorite things to do. And now and then, I write about what it is like to go through life with a Traumatic Brain Injury and PTSD. These are the breadcrumbs that lead me back to a frame of mind or concept that would otherwise be forgotten.

Akita Coco and Peepers in the backyard
Coco has had a guest for the past couple of months. My son's Chihuahua Mr. Peepers.
At first I always went out in the backyard with them. I told Coco to go slow when she was playing with Peepers and to be gentle. And I told Peepers not to yell. In time they grew more calm around each other and their play became predictably gentle. Now I can let them play in the backyard. I check on them frequently but as you can see, they have become wonderful friends.
